Read a Book, Get a Book. That is what today's event is called. The eighth grade students in Ms. Thomson's class come to our school and read with students. They come with HUNDREDS of brand new books for the students to choose from. The younger students pick a book, sit with an 8th grader, and then they read it together. They keep going back for new books until the time is up. At the end, the younger students chooses any book they want, write their name in it, along with the older student's name, and get to keep it. My students 💗 new books. They had such a great time. And, the weather was so nice we got to sit outside. Joy all around!
