Each year the EMS team from the county comes to teach the 2nd graders about bike, car, and water safety. It always comes before our big 2nd grade bike ride. They usually have one or two bikes to give away. This year they had four bikes - one for each class. The students had to color a picture and the best picture was chosen. This student from my class, Noah, was chosen. He was soooo excited. He almost cried. His mom was thrilled. It filled me with joy to see him so happy. Way to go, Noah!
